Night and Fog 天水围的夜与雾 (2009)

Night and Fog (Traditional Chinese: 天水圍的夜與霧) is a 2009 Hong Kong film directed by Ann Hui. Based a murder case that happened in Tin Shui Wai in 2004, the film attempts to raise awareness of some issues related to new immigrants in Hong Kong. The film stars Simon Yam and Zhang Jingchu who play the couple. It is the second and final volume of Ann Hui's Tin Shui Wai series, the first one being The Way We Are.
The film was premiered at the 2009 Hong Kong International Film Festival on 22 March 2009, along with Shinjuku Incident. It is on wide release in Hong Kong from 14 May 2009.
The film follows a married wife from Mainland China who lived in the outer Hong Kong projects of Tin Shui Wai with an abusive husband.

王晓玲和她的丈夫李森是典型的中港婚姻家庭，年轻的妻子从老远的四川嫁到香港，年暮的无业丈夫留在家中照顾小孩，一家人只依靠综缓过活。年龄的差距令森不断怀疑玲对自己不忠，无止境的猜疑令玲饱受精神虐待。一次玲因小故被森赶走，邻居欧太带玲去找区议员寻求协助，最后被安排入住庇护中心。玲的院友小莉劝玲离开森，但玲因无法在港独自生活及养活两名年幼女儿，以及在经验不足的社工劝导之下，玲又回到森身边。可是当晚，森再因小事向玲发脾气，玲受伤被送到医院。玲再一次回到庇护中心，但她始终担心两个女儿的安全，欲回家接走她们，却发现大门被锁。玲慌惶地四处找寻森和两名年幼女儿，终找到森。森带着玲和他一起去快餐店接两名年幼女儿回家。玲一方面知道不应再跟森回去，另一方面又妄想可以和平分手，遂再一次跟他踏入家门，准备收拾细软带两名年幼女儿离开......
