Popular Aaron Kwok stars with TV comedy sensation Dicky Cheung for The Kung Fu Scholar, a period kung-fu comedy with equal doses of action and laughs. Dicky Cheung is Lun, a tricky scholar who's the class clown of his local college. He teams up with kung-fu kid Lau (Aaron Kwok) to rule the classroom, which comes under fire when they get a new substitute teacher named Li (Leung Ka Yan). Unknown to his students, Li is really a famous martial arts legend who's on the run from Imperial bad guys led by Shaw Brothers star Gordon Lau Ka Fai! But life-and-death matters of nation are just a side thing - the daffy scholars must also deal with an intercollegiate competition with a rival school! Can the class win the competition and subdue the Imperial bad guys?
